Cool! I'm using a pepper mill at the moment. My MBA would be a big improvement. It mostly just sits next to my MacBook Pro, powered off.
Try throwing it out of the window to see how far it can travel.

Unless it's a big pepper mill, that doesn't sound very sturdy. The MBA would be much better. And the space bar will help keep the book from sliding forward.
