I just noticed last week that there was a new Amazon Prime application on my Apple TV 3rd Gen. I didn't realize new applications were still being created and published for the ATV3. What are the chances that the Plex application will show up on ATV3?
The 3rd gen doesn't run apps, just preset 'channels' sent via server. The appearance of Amazon (which will differ from the TVOS app on the current models) was an exception and while any users here can't speak to future plans it is highly unlikely anything further will be added.
