macOS with Touch ID : great ! but why don’t …?

Hello !

I’m a little paranoid and I never use a admin account to open a session if I’m online. And even when I’m online with a non-admin session, I don’t like to enter a usr/pwd admin to install or update an application.

So when I started on a MacBook Pro (Touch Bar) I said : « great, at last no more usr/pwd admin, now only a Touch Id admin ! »

But unfortunately this is possible only if you open also a admin session…back at square one.

I think wrongly or rightly that enter a Touch Id is more secure than enter a usr/pwd. So my question is : why don’t allow Touch ID without opening an admin session ?

If you agree with me, tell Apple : « it’s a very interessant question » by selecting « I have this question too »

Thanks,

Rabuchon
