Cannot attach files (images, PP, docs) to Calendar events on Mac! Anyone has solution?

It's hard to believe there aren't any posts on this...

How can I attach files (JPG, PPT, DOCX...etc) to calendar events in Calendar on Mac. It's surprising that Google Calendar has a clear function to attach any files to an event. I cannot find similar function in Calendar on Mac....There is nothing in menu that allows that, and nothing when i double-click event (to open) to allow it either.

There must be a solution to this...
