I tunes on MacBook Pro scrolls through all songs but will not play

Unable to play my library or apple music songs in I Tunes (latest version 12.7.2) on Mac book pro running High Sierra 10.13.2. When I click on a song the player scrolls through all the songs but will not play. Problem started when I upgraded to latest version of High Sierra.
