iBooks empty
After updating to an iPhone X everything has been restored other than all of my iBooks content including my PDF’s?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are missing content in the iBooks app on your new iPhone X. To help with this issue, please go to Settings > iBooks and make sure Sync Collections is turned on. Then go to Settings > [ your name ] > iCloud, and make sure iCloud Drive is turned on. Restart your iPhone and check the iBooks app again for your missing content.
