How do I select downloaded music from iTunes and use as a ringtone?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you want use custom Ringtones on your iPhone. You asked about doing this from music on your iPhone or iTunes, but that is not supported as the format for Ringtones is different than music. But the good news is there is a Tone Store available to get custom Ringtones. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics, tap Ringtone and then tap the Tone Store option to browse what tones are available for use on your iPhone.
