I have a 2006 MacBook Pro 15 running OS 10.4.11. It will not upgrade. It has Intel Core Duo with 2 GHz processor speed, and 1 GB memory with 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM. What is a recommended upgrade so as to run a more current OS and today's typical/standard software (Office, Chrome, etc.) and apps? Advice needed and welcomed! Thank you... John-

1. No. As stated above, it can’t be upgraded past 10.6.8.
2. If you think you’ll be using the machine for long enough to justify buying more RAM, you should.
