Mac Mini will not boot after High Sierra update

After updating my Mac mini yesterday it will not boot past the initial chime and displays the 'can't find the OS screen'. I've tried rebooting many times but no luck. Suggestions?

Try to repair/update installation with

OPTION-COMMAND-R

At boot screen.
