Question:

Question: Can PAGES MAIL MERGE WITH A NUMBERS SPREADSHEET? AND IF SO . .HOW?

I have created a spreadsheet with names and addresses for mailing Christmas card envelopes using the older version on 'Numbers" ('09)

I have always been able to mail merge with the older version of a 'Pages' ('09) envelope.

It no longer functions!

The newer versions: Pages 6.3.1 and Numbers 4.3.1 don't seem to have a way of doing this particular

mail merge. "Help' DOES say you can merge to Pages through an address book and V cards, but doesn't say HOW? Will it work with a Numbers spreadsheet instead?

Mail/Data merge is built-in to Pages '09 v4.3, and you must use Numbers '09 v2.3 with it. More recent Pages applications, and in particular, Pages v6.3.1 do not provide Mail/Data merge. Some of the features in Pages '09 v4.3 have stopped working in macOS releases, and Mail/Data merge may be among these casualties.
