Apple seriously needs to rethink this idiotic decision. I had no earthly idea why this was hijacking an extremely important text message I was getting regarding my family. My dad is hospitalized & it's been touch & go. I get a message from my niece & can't read the whole thing or reply to her until I figure out what the h-e double toothpicks this crap is blocking my messages! Needless to say I was beyond ****** off. Stupid, stupid idea, Apple.

This is not a scam. Go to settings>wallet & Apple Pay and turn off Apple Pay Cash. Hitting continue is safe.
If you would like to send feedback to Apple, then you can do so here:
You are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-based technical support community.
Thanks. It seems this was a poor way for Apple to deliver this feature.
Even if it’s supposedly safe, its an unwanted ad at best and a virus at worst. I’d rather see an update that removes it instead of forcing me to enter “continue”.
It is not a virus. Do what you wish the original poster was satisfied. Please do not hijack a post. If you have a technical issue, create your own thread.
Really bad idea. I just spent 30 minutes resetting my phone and erasing all content because I thought this was a virus. REALLY BAD IDEA.
Apple Pay ad just hijacked my iMessage
