Transfer items to new account

My children are growing up and no longer want to use their mums itunes account. They want their own.

Is it possible to transfer the music and items they purchased through my account on to their new personal account?

iPod touch, iOS 8

The purchases are tied to the account they were purchased with.

If they open their own accounts you can use Family Sharing so they can still access that content.
