My remote wont charge there is no light that comes on after 8 hours of charging???

Are you using the supplied charging cable with an Apple certified USB charger or laptop USB port?

AFAIK, there is no light that comes on when it's charging.

Make sure whatever you're using to charge it is correctly connected to power.
