Played podcasts reappear unplayed

Played podcasts, that I deleted manually, reappear as unplayed. It's strictly an iTunes issue (12.6.3.6, upgraded from the terrible 12.7) as I use ipod classic (best apple device ever). I don't play or synchronize podcasts with iPhone as the podcast app is totally useless. I don't know if the problem comes from icloud but I unsync music, movies, tv-shows to definitively get rid of icloud. So, how to make the podcast library work correctly ? if possible ?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), iTunes 11.1
