iCloud drive not available via scanner

I've recently noticed changes in the working of iCloud Drive - at least from how I've used it for the past several years. Typical operation is to scan a document on an HP scanner, save it to a folder on my iCloud Drive. Haven't done it for a couple weeks and when I tried...the 'Save' option is not available.


This service has ALWAYS worked - as I read now, there appear to be apps that are supported by the drive. Any insight on what has changed and why? I recently upgraded (using the term loosely) to High Sierra.
