Apple Music (Android) Stops Playing on Bluetooth Connection

I recently moved over to the dark side (sorry) and got a Samsung S8.

Installed the Apple Music app and off I went.

The only problem is that it randomly pauses playback and will not restart.

This is bearable when walking along with headphones, but she driving it is a nightmare.

The only way to get music back is by pulling over, opening the app and pressing shuffle...

Any help would be appreciated.
