Weak vibration motor on SE after lengthy idle

Hello,

I purchased a refurbished iPhone SE and it was delivered today, however it seems like the vibration motor requires a few tries before reaching full power. If I let the phone sit for a little while, the first vibration is impossible to notice. I've been using the switch on the side to spool up the motor to test this, and it usually takes 3-4 cycles of the switch before the vibration feels like it's how it should be.

The box the phone came in lists a 90-day warranty, however I'm curious if this warranty would apply at an Apple store without having to ship the phone back for a replacement. I haven't activated the phone yet (or even gone through the setup process) if it turns out I have to send it back. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Matt

Contact your nearest Apple Store and ask them if they will look at it.
