MacBook early 2011 battery defect

I bought this product and only recently I discovered a severe issue with the battery.

It swelled seriously, deforming the aluminium case and stopping working. Also the trackpad has been deformed by the battery deformation. I decided to open the MacBook to see what was happening inside, I found the battery totally deformed with the plastic outer parts almost exploding.

I tried to contact Apple and the reply was really frustrating: your product is obsolete, we even do not support It anymore.

I have at home other PC with similar specs, they didn't give me any problem.

For what did I pay much more for an apple product??

For having support discontinued after only 5 years and for not having recognized a clear product defect?

I Will most probably never buy an Apple product anymore.
