Xcode bluetooth explorer won't open

Hi i have xcode 9.2 , i downloaded additional tools for xcode 9 in order to run bluetooth explorer .

but when running it , the icon appears in Dock but no window opens .

i ran it using terminal to see the error , i got :

2017-12-16 12:55:51.526 Bluetooth Explorer[3440:539388] Failed to connect (mActiveWindow) outlet from (ActiveConnectionWindow) to (NSWindow): missing setter or instance variable

2017-12-16 12:55:51.527 Bluetooth Explorer[3440:539388] Failed to connect (mDeviceCacheWindow) outlet from (DeviceCacheWindowController) to (NSPanel): missing setter or instance variable

2017-12-16 12:55:51.527 Bluetooth Explorer[3440:539388] Failed to connect (showDeviceScannerWindow) outlet from (AppDelegate) to (NSMenuItem): missing setter or instance variable


any idea ? Thanks .

You may need to install Xcode 8 as well to use "Additional Tools for Xcode 8.x".


I've been installed Xcode 8.3.3 along with Xcode 9.2 (on Sierra 10.12).


Bluetooth Explorer in "Additional Tools for Xcode 9" has been failed to launch as you described, however Bluetooth Explorer in "Additional Tools for Xcode 8.2" was working on my env.
