can no longer logon after upgrading to OS High Sierra

I have upgraded my Mac Mini to OS High Sierra. Previously I have never used a logon password on this computer and was hence able to login just by clicking on the logon symbol leaving the password field blank. However after upgrading to OS High Sierra I can no longer logon leaving the password field blank, but sine I never had a password for this computer i can’t logon now! Any good advice? Thank you!
