Position dock in IOS 11

Is there a way to position the dock in iOS 11? I have 5 rows of applications. The dock is covering the middle row. I can neither see the applications nor use them. As you might guess, this is very frustrating.

iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 11.2.1

The dock should always be at the bottom of the screen. If it isn’t, try restarting your device. On my iPad, I have a game that sometimes moves the dock to the middle of the screen when I quit the game. I just restart my iPad and the dock goes back to the bottom.
