Beatsx wireless earphones not working - power light ‘pink’

my earphones suddenly stopped working with the power light displaying a ‘pink’ colour- as though the red and white are on together. Tried a reset via the mains charger - red light blinks, then goes white. As soon as I disconnect from the charger the power light goes pink. Any ideas?
