I can't access my icloud drive on my iphone 7 plus now. I update my ios yesterday and before that it worked. Now the screen flickers and says authentication required.

I had this problem too when trying to access icloud drive from iMovie.
A simple re-boot fixed the problem.
Hi, you might want to restart your phone. It works for mine. Just a temporary solution. Hopefully someone can justify the error 🏻♂

I am asked for Authentication which fails with my standard email and password and then when I try to change it it says that I can change it because I’m signed in to the iCloud and to use my standard passcode...Which fails. It then tells me that I can use my phone number to sign in. I sign in using my phone number and it in turn sends me a verification number which I enter and I get a message back saying that there has been a verification error. This repeats over and over again. It seems to be working now. I didn't do anything. I also hadn't checked it for days. I'm not sure what the problem was. Maybe Apple was experiencing a problem on their end that's now resolved. I hope yours works soon!
