macbook pro forward slash lag

I'm using macbook pro with touchbar late 2016. My forward slash "/" lags quite a lot especially when I use it in excel. It happens on other apps as well.

I tried tested by typing the / 10 times, occasionally only 9 / registered on screen. Restarting didn't seem to work. Every other keys seem to work just fine, only the forward slash.

Anyone having similar issue?
