Unable to go from High Sierra to Sierra?

Hey All,

I upgraded to High Sierra when it came out. I'm running a late 2015 MBP with plenty of free space and 8GB of RAM.

HS is incompatible with one of my apps (Kerbal Space Program), so I decided to downgrade to Sierra, as per the instructions on How to download macOS Sierra - Apple Support. However, when I do that, the Mac App Store tells me "This copy of 'Install Mac OS' is too old to run". Suggestions?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.2)

if you could boot into a previous system then you can do it. I have external drive with bootable operating system from Snow Leopard through High Sierra. Prepared for any emergency. This includes installers except for Snow Leopard which requires a darn CD.

You can't install an older OS to replace a newer OS with erasing the hard drive. The instructions are for Sierra, but are applicable to High Sierra.

Contact Kerbel Space program. Perhaps they have an update program. You cannot easily go back to Sierra after upgrading unless you made provision before you upgraded.
