Open it in Preview. Then, click the "Tools" menu and "Show Inspector". The inspector will give you access to the EXIF data.
If you import it into Photos, you can view the location data. There are probably other ways.

You can then download the newly geotagged photo.

If you have an iPhone then I believe that all of it's photos are geotagged unless you have disabled it in Location Services.
