iTunes won't burn discs after update to 12.7.2.58

Recently iTunes for Windows 10 updated, but am now finding it no longer burns discs. It will do no more than attempt the first 1-2 tracks then ejects the disc. Message that then displays is "An unknown error has occurred. 0x80004005". I have seen posts with similar issues suggesting to reduce burn speed; I tried reducing burn speed to 8x, but still get the same error. Please advise.
