How do I preview my incoming mail?

I have recently noticed that the preview pane on my MAIL app is gone from my MacBook Air preferences? (Figure 1)

How can I get it back to the original settings to include the preview pane?

Enter in user library macOS Sierra: Library folder

Find a folder Containers > drag and drop a folder com.apple.mail to the desktop .

Restart the Mac and open mail application , this is just a trial method .

Sometimes , for major problems in mail application , delete the account and configure it once again an article for it Set up Mail with email accounts - Apple Support

In your case , the second column was vanished , the mail corruption or any other applications can be damaged by installing third party apps , cleaners , anti virus etc .

I have suggested many times specially about unidentified apps in simple words don't install it and use .

Uninstall all of them the Mac will work very smoothly , no hangups , no spinning beach ball of death ( SBBOD ) .

In my Mac there is only one app Malware - bytes Anti Malware for Mac , just scan the system after few days and nothing apart from it .
