FCPX 10.4 Balance color's eyedropper doesn't select color

Trying to use Balance Color's eyedropper, select "white balance" in dropdown menu and then select color on image by pipette and click it. But nothing happened, It doesn't select any color - indicate "no color sampled".

Have someone have such problem?

Ok I've just worked out what's going on here. If I retime a clip or have a 50p clip on a 25p timeline with automatic speed selected to make slo mo, the eye dropper won't work! I have to bring the timing back to 100%, use the eyedropper to make the change and then retime again!!
