Rec.2020 HDR not identified ex Atomos Ninja Inferno

I shot a clip on an Atomos Ninja Inferno (monitoring in Rec.709) but recording V-LOG straight out of a GH5. So it should be a Rec.2020 clip, as I understand it.

However when I drop it on to Compressor 4.4 the Shot Properties inspector identifies it as SDR, Rec.709 (see image below)

Final Cut Pro 10.4 does the same.

Am I missing something? There's a bit of a dearth of specific information for the workflow so without the applications recognising my HDR shot automatically I'm all at sea.

Using Media-Info I've found that it's most likely not compressor's fault.

It seems to be in Atomos's metadata that it's Rec.709, which is almost certainly wrong :-(

I can force compressor to treat it as Rec.2020, but FCPX 10.4 is not so simple.

Update: It turns out it is possible to override metadata wrongly identifying a clip as Rec.709 in FCPX 10.4 — see step 5 here:
