Music and Siri problems in my car iPhone X

My Siri drops constantly over my car stereo and won't connect 90% of the time. I now have to pick up my phone and talk into it. Also my Spotify music won't start automatically. This never happened on my iPhone 7. Worked great in my Mazda. Now I have the X and both suck in my car. I've gone through settings and nothing helps. Any suggestions? I'm frustrated with the money I spent on this phone and apple.
