Creating an ALBUM of Favourites.....

I like to create an album of my favourite tracks then transfer it into iTunes, and then onto my iPod. However although all the tracks have the same album name (edited using Song info) "My Favourites" and the same Artwork image, in the iTunes ALBUM view it shows each individual track, as a separate album although with the same artwork. How can I get iTunes to simply display the ONE album icon, rather than the numerous tracks. It makes iTunes look messy on my desktop. I know I could create a "Playlist" but being a bit "OCD" I like my iTunes to look neat and tidy 😟😟
