Elevated heart rate notification

If Elevated heart rate is activated and I turn on Do Not Disturb, such as when I go to bed, am I defeating the purpose? Or will elevated heart rate override the DND setting? This isn't easy to test for myself so I hope someone already has the answer.

Apple Watch Series 2, watchOS 4.2

Hi

Elevated heart rate notifications are not affected by Do Not Disturb mode. (Nor are alarms).
