iTunes does not sync - button grayed out

iPhone 6 ver 11.2.1 (15C153)

iTunes 12.7.2.60

First Music app started crashing especially when trying to play Apple Music playlists (downloaded to iPhone)

Then, the sync button is grayed out and the space barr is all yellow labeled other.

Cannot sync via Wi-Fi nor USB (windows pc), tryied several usb lightning cables.

any help?
