Question: Issue with Tinder login when restoring from iTunes backup
I bought a new iPhone X. I have backed up my existing iPhone using iTunes. When I restore that backup onto my new iPhone, the majority of apps continue to work as if nothing has changed (i.e. all content is there, and I don't need to re-login into the apps). However, when I open Tinder, it asks me to provide my phone number so they can send me a code to verify my account. However, I don't receive the code. Now I'm stuck, since my understanding is that the Tinder account is linked to your phone number.
I tried making sure that I have the most up-to-date version of Tinder on my phone when I back up the phone, but that didn't make any difference. Any ideas on how I can make sure that Tinder moves more seamlessly from my existing phone to my new phone?
