Did you update to High Sierra?

What version of Word (or Office) and what version of macos are you using?

What happened before the icon disappeared?

Tried to do an update this past Tuesday and wasn't able to get my MAC to come back up. Took to Best Buy and when I picked it up I no longer had my Word ICON.
