Still no WiFi fix?

My iPhone 8 Plus has always had WiFi connectivity issues. No matter what network. It almost immediately drops WiFi when the phone is turned off, and also stalls out in the middle of a video quite often. Is there no fix coming? Will I just be toggling airplane mode ten times a day for the next twenty months?
