batteries widget missing on ios 11

I have an iPad Pro and this is how I did it. I hope the same applies to your iPhone if you are running IOS 11.

1. From the home page, swipe to the right to bring up the page that has various bits of info such as reminders etc.

2. Scroll down the page until you see the edit button and press it.

3. You will see “add widgets”. Press it and press Batteries. It will now be displayed whenever you swipe right from the home page.

Did you scroll through the entire list of widgets on offer? Am Sure you probably did!

I suggest contacting Apple (which is a feat in itself) via the apple home page by pressing support and clicking on iPhones. Fill in your details and they will call you.

I recently reset my iPad and encountered the same issue with it not showing battery for bluetooth or Apple Pencil. The widget was missing from the add list and everything. I’ve found that the widget can only be added while a bluetooth device is currently connected, otherwise it will not appear on the list. Perhaps that will help?

I had the same issue. Solved it by pairing a headset first. While actively paired to a battery powered Bluetooth device I was able to find and add the batteries widget. Seems a Bluetooth device must be paired to allow the battery widget to be visible under other.
