My Iphone 6 storage fills up quickly. The system storage eats it away. Last month, I reset everything. And it is already back to almost full. How do I fix the system storage?

I have an Iphone 6. I have updated everything including the software. Last month, I had to do a factory reset to erase enough to update the software. Before I did so, the system processor was taking the majority of my Iphone Storage. The reset fixed it. However, not for long...the processor is now using 10G of the 12G used. It will not be long before it is completely full AGAIN. How do I fix it, that the system doesnt have to take so much storage?
