What happens when a family joins a shared iCloud drive

I am setting up a Family sharing on iCloud for the first time. I've invited Family member X. X accepted the invite and showing as joined to the family.

Now on X's Mac, how do I set Photos to sync to the family shared account. Today it just shows the 50GB that x's plan allows for and not the 2TB plan I have.

Any notes?
