My new Macbook Pro's battery won't charge

Hi,

I noticed within the last day that my Macbook Pro (I bought it in September of this year!) has not been charging AT ALL. I plug in the charger and it makes the charge noise and the lightning bolt charging sign shows up on the menu bar with the battery, but my charge does not increase whatsoever. Having the charger plugged in only ensures my battery doesn't lower. Currently I'm stuck at 1%.

When I press on the battery icon, the following is shown:

I have no idea how to solve this problem. I've tested other outlets, other cables, I've done the shift-control-option trick, I've updated to High Sierra as I saw was suggested in other threads related to mine.

I had bought this laptop at the beginning of the 2017 school year for a pretty hefty sum thinking I wouldn't face a problem such as this, so I'm pretty bummed out. For further information, I have the 15" w/ touchbar if this battery problem may be common for this model. Any help or suggestions offered are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
