Question: Multiple Photos libraries on 1 iCloud account?

Hello,

My wife and I have throughout the years each compiled a Photos libraries on our respective macs, and we would finally like to merge all photos onto 1 iCloud account (either mine, my wife's or by creating a new one), that is then linked to both our iPhones so that when either of us takes a new photo, it is automatically synced onto that account.

How to proceed? Would be much appreciated!!

Answer:
Answer:

each of you log into iCloud with the same Apple ID, verify that the Photos library on each system is set as the system library in the Photos preferences and enable iCloud Photo Library - it will upload all of the photos needed and merge the libraries with no duplicates - all changes made to any connected library (additions, deletions or edits) will be made to all connected devices -- us optimized photos for devices with limited storage
