Bluetooth Explorer not opening

Hi all,

I've bought a third party bluetooth adapter (IOGEAR Bluetooth 4.0 USB Micro Adapter) for my imac 2009.

I've read the instructions about downloading I/O tools for that particular adapter that are available online but I just cannot open the "Bluetooth Explorer" on the hardware folder.

It doesn't display any error message. It just doesn't open but remain as an icon on the dock.

Any ideas ?
