Trying to activate 2-step activation via Mac (OX S El Captain) but when asked for verification code via text message, the code sent on my phone won't work for some weird reason. Just says the verification code is wrong when I've typed the exact code onto the Mac... Any assistance will be helpful. Thanks!

Apple Support by e-mail or chat Select your device, Battery, Power and Charging, then Power adapter not working to get a chat option. If you need to talk to them, ask them if they will do a Skype or FaceTime with you.
Are you getting a verification code box or are you typing it in the password box?
If the password box, enter the password (ABC) followed by the code (123) or ABC123.

It's just a verification code box (six boxes), so it doesn't allow me to type in letters, just numbers.
