Stolen iPad pro

My son's iPad was stolen. It has insurance on it. Will Apple replace it. My son needs it since he is disabled.

Apple does not (and cannot legally) sell insurance. The base warranty and the extended AppleCare+ warranty cover manufacturers defects. AppleCare+ adds two reduced fee accidental damage repairs/replacements. But nothing from Apple covers loss or theft.

Does your home owners or renters insurance offer any sort of coverage? That might apply. Or if you purchased with a credit card, some offer insurance against loss or theft for a limited time on some types of purchases or purchases over a certain amount.
