Shift-Command-4 doesn't save screenshots in desktop

Shift-Command-4 doesn't save screenshots in desktop, where are they saved in High Sierra?

Shift-Command-3 still saves in desktop, but not the partial option.

Any idea?

They should be going to the same place. There isn't any way to tell it to save them in different locations.

Are you holding down the control key, too. That puts them on the Clipboard.

Hi,

I wasn't holding down the control key as I didn't even know this option. Weirdly, after I did hold down that key down, the next time I tried without it, saved to the desktop.
