Importing premiere pro conformed 50to25fps sequence into FCPX

Hi!

I converted some 50fps footage to 25fps slow motion in Premiere Pro CC, and already selected the cuts i need for an edit, but i want to finish it in FCPX, importing the selected shots sequence into Final Cut.

Unfortunately when i try to import the Xml into final cut, it automatically sees the footage as 50fps, not recognizing the pulldown from Premiere, thus messing up the timecode and InOuts.

What should i do to make this work?

Right now the only viable solution i've found is to export the selection.

I am translating the xml file with 7toX.

Thanks!

Would require some help ASAP!

I don't think the translation from one XML format to the other supports conforming clips. Yes, check with the developer, best thing to do first. But I'm sure you're going to have to re-time that clip inside FCPX (which is super easy).
