%101 Positive I did not forget my Username/Login & Password...?

My 2015 MacBook Pro crashed Friday night... took it to the Genius Bar yesterday and was able to get past the login screen. UNFORTUNATELY the technician at the GB wasn't able to recover my data as I did not back up (I know I know..) Few hours ago I suddenly am being asked for the ADMINISTRATOR'S login name and Password. I know for a fact that I did not forget either, but nothing will work. I tried root.... tried running Disc diagnostics via (command+R) , tried resetting my password via terminal, nothing will work.
