iPhone 8 home button not clicking, no sound, lag

Since updating to iOS 11.2.1, my iphone 8 has had a meltdown. The home button "works" but doesn't vibrate, so it's difficult to take care of difference tasks and apps that load have a lot of lag now.

Also, the sound has gone out, no longer works via earphones or speakers.

When I try to reboot, hard or soft, i get stuck in an infinite loop.

I've already restored to factory settings TWICE. Have Genius Bar appointment but curious if anyone else has experienced this issue at all. Just awful.
