My iPhone 7 paired with my 2016 Nissan Leaf without any problems, but I haven't been able to pair my Apple Watch 3 with Cellular to the Nissan Leaf, and no one on the Nissan Leaf forum has figured out how to do it.
Anybody crack it yet?

Whilst some users have reported success with pairing Apple Watch with certain car Bluetooth systems, Apple advises that iPhone, iPad and iPod touch are the only devices that are designed for use with car audio systems.
Apple Watch can be paired with compatible Bluetooth headphones and Bluetooth speakers, but it is not designed to be paired with car audio systems:

Now that the Apple Watch has become "untethered" from the iPhone in Apple Watch 3, it would seem to make sense to allow the watch to have the same pairing possibilities as the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
